DC Initiative
For the first time in any CFI club history, deputy coordinators from the freshie year have been hired. DC are taught the basics of machine learning and deep learning by coordinators and core team members, enabling them to explore the exciting world of AI.
`The Deputy Coordinator role further offers our new recruits the opportunity to work on mini projects supervised by coordinators to contribute to the club's fast-growing repertoire of completed inroads into various fields of Artificial Intelligence such as speech analysis, financial machine learning, neural style transfer .etc.
With the current success of the pilot launch of the initiative, we hope continue this initiative in the upcoming tenure as well.

Medium Blogs
Our coordinators delved into exciting research topics during this month and curated fresh blogs based on whatever they learnt. We are finally on Medium, where we are posting weekly blogs on exciting topics in AI/ML. These blogs are being posted from time to time on the CFI blog site to get our own student body excited about the ongoing research in AI/ML.
IITM Model Zoo 2.0
Our very own model zoo, the IITM-Model-Zoo curates and provides a platform for students working in deep learning to easily find code and a number of pre-trained models for a large variety of downstream tasks. We are currently working on expanding this initial release to include over 30 models. Once we release an updated version, our plan is to make this an open source initiative to encourage submissions from enthusiastic AI/ML researchers.
Paper Archive
This is a community-driven repository where people contribute by sharing their thoughts on different research papers they have come across as a simple README file. This would benefit the contributors by acting as a documentation for future reference and once this archive becomes decently big it would benefit the larger community as a whole. There is no restriction regarding what papers you can add onto this archive - can be old, new anything.

Research Conclave
We got a chance to showcase all our ongoing projects at the Research Conclave where we got some really valuable feedback from various professors.Along with the research conclave, we also had the freshie orientation. We showcased some cool demos of our projects which left the freshies intrigued and slightly puzzled. Interacting with the enthusiastic freshies was amazing too. With over 300 freshies coming to our stall at the orientation, it was a very memorable occasion.
TechVil
TechViL is a report + Prototype based problem statement aimed towards solving the problems of rural India. India's economy will increase substantially only when we work for rural development. This is a chance to give our tech hand to our fellow villagers, we are collaborating with iVil, Webops and Blockchain and Product Design Clubs of CFI on this event
Summer School 2022
We had the highest number of registrations ever in history for this year’s summer school. (with over 1200 registrations) We successfully conducted over 8 sessions for 500+ participants to help kick start their journey in AI/ML. The first four sessions were an introduction to the vast field of Machine Learning, and the later sessions helped participants get exposure to one of the fastest growing fields today - Deep Learning. There were learning tasks after every few sessions to help attendees put the concepts they learned into action.

Turing Prize
The Turing Prize is a contest offering up to $25,000 prize for people to tackle challenges affecting the future. We’re looking for visionary out-of-the-box thinkers, and we're focused on the challenge of aligning advanced artificial intelligence systems (see more here).
